Design your experience strategy
"If 80% of brands disappeared
from the market today,
nobody would notice."
Many organisations want to deliver unique experiences.
The challenge is that their leaders do not know how to approach such a challenge effectively.
They often ask themselves three questions.
How to build strategy
that actually works?
that actually works?
What is experience?
How will we know
the strategy was successful?
the strategy was successful?
Let's dig into them.
1. What is experience?
An experience is a memory that your brand will build in the minds of customers and employees.

2. How to build a strategy that works?
To build an experience strategy you need to address the pragmatic and emotional needs of your customers (or / and employees).

3. How will I know the strategy was successful?
You will need to prepare a set of metrics that:
- are of real value, i.e. focused on the resulting vision and differentiators
- are robust, i.e. stimulate innovation
- are useful, i.e. specific enough to be applied at strategic, tactical, and operational levels

Building an effective experience strategy requires five steps:
STEP 1: collect the stories that customers and employees tell about your company
STEP 2: developing an experienc vision that goes beyond 'business as usual'
STEP 3: defining the differentiators
STEP4: preparing success measures based on the stories you want your customers and employees to tell about you
STEP 5: developing an implementation model for your strategy
